Why is my account blocked?
Library accounts can be blocked for a variety of reasons. The account may have billed items on it, or a large amount of overdue fines. Another possibility is that the account has expired. Because there are many reasons as to why a library account is blocked, the best thing to do if you don't know why your account is blocked is to call the Thousand Oaks Library at (805) 449-2660, and press 6 to contact the Circulation Department. Please note that you will need to provide Library staff with your library card number in order to access your account and confirm your identity. Library staff are unable to access library card accounts without a library card number.
