As of April 2, 2013, the library will begin offering a brand new ebook experience -- OverDrive Read.  OverDrive Read is a browser-based eBook reader that works on most tablets, phones, and computers running web browsers with HTML5 support.

For the best reading experience, we recommend using a browser that natively supports the HTML5 and CSS3 features OverDrive Read eBooks require, like one of these:

Note: If you're using Internet Explorer, you may be prompted with the option to install the free 'Chrome Frame plug-in' or use an alternative browser when opening an eBook. If you prefer, you can also choose to use OverDrive Read Basic, a reduced-feature version of OverDrive Read.

If your device does not support the web browsers specified above, please visit My Help in the OverDrive Help page for specific instruction on your device.

See OverDrive Help page on this topic for more details.
