Answer

Every library account has a default PIN, which is the last four numbers of the telephone number provided to the library when the account was created. The library recommends that you change your PIN to a different number sequence at your earliest convenience for additional security. Please note that we do not support alpha-numeric PINs (PINs that have letters) at this time.

To change your PIN, click on the "Modify Your PIN" button after you login to your account. A window will appear where you can enter your new PIN. Be sure to click on "Submit" to effect the change.

If you have trouble changing your PIN, please contact the Circulation Department at (805) 449-2660, option 6. Please have your library card handy when you call. Staff will need your library card number to verify your identity over the telephone.
