Is there any way to get an extension for my Digital Card?

I'm out of state and it will be a while before I'm back in TO, can you extend my digital card?

Answer

Unfortunately, we’re not able to extend digital cards beyond the 90-day limit. Once your digital card expires, you can sign up for a new one. Please note that with a new account, things like pending holds and checkout history won’t carry over. To avoid any interruption in service, we recommend visiting the Thousand Oaks Library or Newbury Park Library to switch to a Full-access card before your digital card expires.
