Q. Why is the library changing its policy about Digital Cards?

We are updating our digital card policy as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure fair access to our most in-demand online resources. Previously, some of these resources were made available through support from the California State Library. As that support has concluded, we are now working to manage access to serve as many patrons as equitably as possible.
