On October 28 Libby started having a verification error for TO Library card accounts, it has been resolved 10/31, please try logging in again at this time.

Please check our eResource Status page to see updates on when it is working again.

You may find your phone number login no longer works.  The cel phone login option is actually a free trial (limited time) version of Overdrive / Libby.  It is not linked to your library card or to this library. Please try logging in with your Thousand Oaks Library barcode number instead.  Both permanent and temporary card numbers are accepted for log in.  If you have recently switched from a temporary account to a permanent library card, you may need to ask staff to merge your accounts.

If you were using your Library Card to login - Make sure your library card is not expired, all library cards expire every three years. Also if your have outstanding fines or fees, these may block your account access.

If you are using an iOS device (iPad, iPhone, etc) please be aware that older OS will not support the current Libby app.  To use Libby you must have your iOS updated to iOS 10 or later.  If you have an older device which cannot be updated to a more current iOS, then updating Overdrive/Libby will not work for you.  You may be able to read in Overdrive online in your browser (without using the app).

If you have multiple cards/accounts stored on your device, please make sure you are looking at the correct card account for the book you are trying to access.

You can view the "Help" screen on Libby for all sorts of support questions, they typically include screen shots to make the instructions easy to follow.  You can also click this link to see the Libby App Support webpage https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/index.htm

If your app is still not working, please call us at 805-49-2660, option 4
