Q. Tax Forms - how to get printed forms

These days the IRS and the California FTB encourage people to file online, and do not make tax forms available at Libraries or Post Offices.

To request forms online, you can go to https://www.ftb.ca.gov/forms/index.html for CA taxes; or to the IRS at https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/ways-to-obtain-irs-forms-and-publications

For Californa FTB forms by mail:

1. Call (800) 338-0505

2. Select 1 for Personal Income Tax, 2 for Business Entity Information

3. Select "Forms and Publications"

4. Follow the recorded instructions, and enter the 3 digit code listed on this webpage, when instructed

you can get up to 2 copies of each tax form and 1 copy of each set of instructions. Please allow 10-15 working days to receive your forms.
