Both the Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks Libraries have a scanner station where you can scan a document or photograph.  You can also send a fax from the scan station.

The scanner can scan up to 10 (ten) pages at one time.  Please be considerate of others if you have larger amounts to scan.

If you would like to Fax from the scanner, please be sure to have the Fax number ready, and be prepared that if you have more than 10 pages, you will need to send them in multiple faxes.  Fax speed is based on the receiving fax machine, if it is taking more than a minute, you may want to call and be sure the fax is online.  Many businesses now accept email attachments in place of Faxing.

There is not a sheet-feeder attached to either scanner.  If you have very large amounts to scan, you may want to try scanning services at local businesses to save yourself time. For Scanning services details, please see our Document Scanner page.

All scanning / faxing services are free.

We cannot receive incoming faxes.
