Q. Can I borrow a book if I have fines

If you have fines or fees amounting to a total of $20.00 or more, or if you have a billed item on your account will be blocked and you will not be able to check out new items, or to place holds until you either return the items or pay the fines or fees. This will also block new checkout and new holds on Virtual items, such as Libby ebooks and eaudiobooks. 

When you return billed overdue items, please bring them directly to the Circulation Desk as soon as possible, so they can be cleared from your account, and outstanding fees or fines can be waived.
