The library used to have ZIP books, but I heard it has gone away?
I want a newer book the library does not own, how can I get a copy?

Most libraries do not Inter-Library Lend (ILL) books that are published within the last two years. If you are looking for a brand-new book, audio, or media, please suggest a purchase otherwise, for books less than two years old, we have direct delivery of newer titles by "Books T.O. Your Door."
If you were using the Zip Books service, please note that option now been replaced by "Books T.O. Your Door." Please use this link to request books published less than two years ago. This service is funded by the Friends of the the Thousand Oaks Library.
The Palace Project connects ebooks and Eaudiobooks from many California Libraries to users at other libraries. An excellent resource for borrowing older ebooks online is the Internet Archive. There are now over 4 million books available digitally for free through the Internet Archive.
