We are very sorry, but there is no Chess Club which meets at the Thousand Oaks Library or Newbury Park Library.

We are aware that there is a Chess website that states that we host Chess Club and Chess events, but this is not true. We have no affiliation with the web site that states this information.

Small groups are welcome to check out the chess set at the Children's Help Desk at the Grant R. Brimhall library along with other board games that may be available for use in the library.

There are many instructional books about learning chess, in our non-fiction section at 794.1

Additionally, you can find ebooks and emagazines about Chess available on the Libby app, just sign in with your library card number and PIN to create a free account.
