If you are having an issue logging in to Libby, and you have a Digital or Online card, your card may have expired. This often shows initially as a PIN validation error.
On April 15th, the library sent out a notice to all digital cardholders advising that starting on May 1st, digital cards will expire in 90 days from the date created. Patrons who received the notice were encouraged to convert their digital cards to Full-Access cards to prevent an interruption in library services.
If you had a digital card that was deleted after 90 days we would encourage you to come into the Grant R. Brimhall Library or the Newbury Park Library and sign up for a full-access card. It is not possible to renew a digital card.
If you get your permanent card before your temporary account expires, all of your Libby holds and your reading history will automatically move to the new account.
If your account expired prior to getting a permanent card, please speak to a librarian to request your previous holds to be transferred to your new permanent account number. In most cases we can reinstate holds, but we cannot promise that all items can be restored fully to the previous place in line. Please be prepared to supply your email address, and the titles of any items checked out or on hold for your temporary account.
