The Thousand Oaks Library Local Author Fair is an event in which we highlight the authors who have submitted their books to our collection in the last year. Every year we invite authors who have new work added to the collection between the months of August through the following July so for this year our cutoff for participants would be August 2024-July 2025.
Unfortunately, every year we receive between 30 and 40 local author submissions so due to space we are usually unable to admit authors who submitted their books previous years. We are sometimes able to do this if we have low interest or a year where there is a lower number of submissions in which case we do keep interested authors in mind.
If you would like to take part in a future Thousand Oaks Local Author Fair, please submit your book to the Thousand Oaks Library Local Author Collection using our Local Author Submission Form .
