I have placed a hold on a book that shows as available (Check Shelf) at the library? How can I tell when it is ready to pick up?
You will receive a notification email, phone call or text letting you know when holds are ready to pick up. Please check your spam/junk email folder, even if you have received email from us before.
If you are the first or only person on the hold list for an item shows as "Check Shelf" then it is typically ready for pick up the next business day, but always check for your notification.
If you think you might have missed your notification, please check your account online.
To see all the titles you have on hold, please go to "My Account" You will need to have your Thousand Oaks Library card number handy, and your PIN to sign in.
You will see any holds that are ready under the "Holds" tab, with the status "Ready for Pickup."
