  • Step 1Place a hold through the online catalog or call 805-449-2660 option 4, and select TO Library as a pickup location.
  • Step 2 – After receiving a hold notice, come to the Grant R. Brimhall Library. Park in the designated spots outside the children’s side of the library.
  • Step 3 Please call the curbside number at 805-381-7355 to notify staff of your arrival. We will bring your materials out to you.  If phone lines are down, please text us at (805) 253-2906

How long will I have to come and get the things I requested?

Once you are notified that your held items are ready for pickup, you have seven days to come and get them before they are passed to the next person on the hold list.  "My Account" shows when the hold period will expire.

How do I return my materials?

Please use the Drive-up book drops available at either the Thousand Oaks or Newbury Park Library. Patrons can also return items directly inside either library.  Please do not hand returns to library staff when you are picking up items.
