Can I pick up books for my spouse?

Can I pick up the books my wife / husband / child / grandparent has on hold?

Answer

Library cards are non-transferable, and cannot be shared between family members.  Please arrange to pick up your own holds, or to place the hold under the card of the person who will be picking up.  If your spouse has their own card, they can use their card to check out the items.

If you have a home-bound family member, who is not able to come in and pick up items, you may want to see our Circulation Supervisor to institute a homebound patron account.  Alternately, you may use your own library card to check out materials.
